VitaLink Coir Grow – Hard Water or Soft Water

VitaLink Coir Grow is a fantastic growth formulation for coco based growing mediums and comes in both hard and soft water formulations!

When growing with coco-based mediums it is essential to use a nutrient solution tailored to your specific needs. Coco-based mediums have a significantly higher concentration of potassium than other growing mediums, that's why VitaLink's Coir range is designed for optimal nutrient balance in coco and so accounts for this by containing less potassium than other nutrient solutions.

VitaLink Coir Grow contains a whole host of essential nutrients for your plants such as Vitamin B1 which facilitates root growth and improves the health of your plants, Humic Acid, which promotes the uptake and transportation of minerals and Fulvic Acid which improves the absorption capacities of your plants' roots.

Hard water is much richer in minerals such as Calcium and Magnesium than soft water, it is important to use the right feeds for your water type. One easy way to tell if you live in a hard water area is check for white chalky residue on your showerhead, kettle or sinks, this is limescale and means you live in a hard water area. If you still don't know you can also purchase a water test kit at any major home store.
