With every reflector, light distribution is a big deal – light distribution and crop heights go hand in hand, uneven reflectors cause ‘pyramid’ growth meaning your plant canopy will grow into a pyramid-like shape, causing the shorter of your plants to not receive the same amount of light as the taller plants, and this can cause some complications when cropping. The Silver Star Air-Cooled Reflector is built using high quality, polished, aluminium to provide almost perfect light distribution across the plant canopy – and when the summer months pass us by and temperatures drop, the removable glass pane allows for even better light distribution.

The 5 inch can hold a HPS bulb up to 600W and has two 5 inch spigots for fitting extraction fans and ducting.

The 6 inch can hold up to a 1000W HPS bulb and has two 6 inch spigots for fitting extraction fans and ducting.

The Silver Star-Air cooled reflector also comes with a 5M IEC lead, a standard kettle plug fitting and a removable reinforced safety glass panel that can be removed during cooler weather.
