These quarter inch Grodan GrowCubes are perfect for pot culture and container growing. They are lightweight (about 1/10th of the weight of a bag of potting soil) and offer a 50/50 balance of water and air making them great for aeration which promotes fast and healthy root growth.
Grodan GrowCubes also offer fantastic control over your feeding, each cube has four surfaces to drain excess water. Even if you over-water your plants by mistake your GrowCubes will not get waterlogged! Grodan GrowCubes also have fantastic water retention and re-saturation qualities which means that if you miss a feed you will easily be able to catch up with your schedule with minimal stress on your plants.
Grodan GrowCubes work well with other mediums such as clay pebbles. and are exceptionally easy to mix. When used with clay pebbles the GrowCubes help propagate water in the container as well as acting as a water buffer in-between feeds.
